The following are Thursday's death and funeral notices for Westmeath.

Pauline Greville

Hyde Park Killucan

The death occurred yesterday, Wednesday February 2, of Pauline Greville. Pauline passed away peacefully in Regional Hospital Mullingar, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Joe and predeceased by her God-daughter Emma, she is sadly missed by her loving mother Mary, sisters Joan, Pamela and Aisling, brothers James, Philip and Shane, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence this Thursday evening (N91W2F5) from 4pm to 6pm. Pauline’s Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow, Friday, 4th of February, in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathwire, at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Dr Mohammad Faheem

Belvedere Hills, Mullingar, Westmeath

The death occurred yesterday, February 2, of Dr Mohammad Faheem, Consultant Anaesthetist at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. Dr Faheem died peacefully at his home in the company of his dear family. Beloved husband of Nazia and devoted father of Ammar, Muaz and Nawal; he will be fondly remembered by his wife and family, daughter-in-law Sidra Rauf, his brothers and sisters, extended family, colleagues and many friends.

Funeral Prayer Service will take place on Friday February 4 at 13.15 in Clonskeagh Mosque, Dublin, D14YD91, followed by burial in Newcastle Cemetery, Lucan.

Thomas (Tony McHugh)

Roscommon Road, Athlone, Westmeath / Athlone, Roscommon

The death occurred yesterday of Thomas (Tony) McHugh in the devoted care of the staff of Roscommon University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wifeMaureen (née Lally), daughtersAntoinette McCannandUrsula Hunter, grandsonsDaniel,AdamandEthan, sons-in-law Martin and Paul, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone on Friday evening (February 4) from 5pm until 7pm (Walk through only). Mass of the Resurrection in Ss Peter & Paul's Church, Athlone, on Saturday (February 5th) at noon with burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.

Elizabeth (Lily) Earley (née Power)

Sarsfield Square, Athlone, Westmeath

The death occurred yesterday of Lily Earley. She died peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Davy and her sister Winnie (Prince), she is sadly missed by her daughters Linda, Helen and Frances (McLoughlin), son Jason, husband Frank, sister Bridie (Somers), brothers Ben and John Joe, sons-in-law Gerry and Willie, daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her daughter's (Frances') residence (3 Old Coosan Point Road, N37 Y6Y0) on Thursday evening from 4pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church on Friday morning at 10.30am followed by cremation afterwards in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin at 1.45pm.

Joey Gilheany

Drumcannon, Swanlinbar/Mullingar

The death has occurred of Joey Gilheany. Formerly of Mullingar, Joey died suddenly and peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 1. The son of the late Joe and Mary Ellen, and brother of the late Peter (London), he is deeply regretted by his sister Maureen (New York) and his brother Sean. sisters-in-law Maura (Drumcannon) and Margaret (London) Aunts Josie and Maureen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and his many friends from his playing days in the Red Sunbeam, Drifters and Times Showbands.

Joey's remains will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78 this evening, Thursday, February 3, from 7pm to 8pm. Walk through only, no hugs or handshaking. House strictly private at all times.

Joey's remains will leave his residence on Friday at 10.30am to arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with burial afterwards in the family plot in Killaduff Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Driscoll

The Grotto, Cooraclare, Clare/Delvin

The death occurred Tuesday, February 1, of Patrick (Paddy) Driscoll of The Grotto, Cooraclare, Co.Clare and formerly of Delvin, Co. Westmeath. Peacefully at Milford Care Centre. Predeceased by his parents William and Anne, brother T.J and his sisters Mary Ellen and Bridie.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Peggy (Madden) New Jersey and Anne (Hogan) Luton, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Nagle's Funeral Home, Ennistymon this evening from 6 until 8 pm. Funeral arriving at St.Brigid's Church, Liscannor on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 am, followed by burial in Killaspuglinnane cemetery. No shaking of hands please.
